Mac Masters Beach is located on the 'Central Coast' of NSW, about 17kms east from Gosford via Kincumber or 20kms from Kariong via Woy Woy.

  • The beach is one kilometre long, Cockrone Lagoon is to the north and Bouddi National Park to the south. The lagoon teems with wildlife and is a great spot for canoeing and swimming, whilst Bouddi National Park has kilometres of varied walks from Mac Masters to Killcare with spectacular views, flora and fauna.
  • The beach has a Surf Life Saving Club and is considered a 'safe' surfing beach with a popular wave break on the southern end of the beach for surf boardriders . Fishing off the beach or rocks is a popular pastime of the locals and visitors.
  • The local rock pool is one of the few on the coast, which provides a safe swimming area for small children and those not keen on the surf. The beach is patrolled seven days per week between the October Long weekend and Easter.
  • The area consists mainly of single homes of all styles and some lovely rural properties along The Scenic Road, towards Kincumber

Mac's surf club has a kiosk that is usually open in the summer months on weekends only. They also have a café open for food all year round on both Friday & Sunday evenings (note that they can close early). Walk to Copacabana, (northern end of MacMasters Beach) for a variety of shops such as newsagent, takeaway food and a restaurant, or drive/walk to the local fruit stall for daily papers, milk, fruit and vegies, which is about 1.5km back towards Kincumber.

Kincumber is only 5kms and has:

  • large shopping centre with Bi-Lo supermarket,
  • Hotel,
  • Macdonalds, KFC, Dominos Pizza,
  • Ritz Twin Cinema,
  • Westpac Bank,
  • Mitre 10 Hardware,
  • Post Office,
  • petrol stations
  • and other specialty shops.
